2020
February 2020 saw an accumulation of six months of crowd funding coming to a head and our business leaders heading into the kitchen to cook for 200 people at Bayleys Plate up for a Purpose. In raising just on $200,000 for The Christchurch City Mission Back to School Programme – Business Leaders proved that not only are they fearless in the board room – they can also walk their talk in the kitchen.
2021
2021 was relentless, throwing up challenges and roadblock at every turn. Yet even with the challenges that Covid threw all organisations, our Business Leaders signed up to the challenge to do their part in helping remove roadblocks for future generations. Together they raised over $145,000 helping transform the lives of Canterbury’s most vulnerable children.
The reality is a school uniform is a huge expense for many families, some high school uniforms can cost as much as $1,000 and primary school uniforms, and sports uniforms are a big cost –especially when a family has two or more children.
